SEARCHES of a house in York in connection with the disappearance of Claudia Lawrence have ended this morning.
North Yorkshire Police and forensic officers have been searching the semi-detached property in Burnholme Grove since last Tuesday, when 59-year-old Michael Snelling was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Claudia.
The cordon around the property has today been removed, and a police spokesman confirmed the "searches have concluded at that property", but "the investigation and inquiries are ongoing".
Mr Snelling is the first person to be arrested in connection with Claudia's disappearance, and was released on conditional bail last Wednesday.
