A CAR crashed into the central reservation of the A1(M) in North Yorkshire last night.
The car became stranded in the third lane of the motorway following the collision, which was reported to police at about 11.30pm.
Sergeant Paul Cording, of North Yorkshire Police, said no-one suffered any injuries and that a passing recovery driver stopped and offered protection until police arrived.
