Here is Laura Pagan, who ran the 5km race in support of Phoebe Watling, who was diagnosed with Leukaemia just before Christmas.

Laura, 31, ran with Team Phoebe's Princesses, and said: "It's been very, very hot. Being 15 weeks pregnant, I wasn't really aiming for a time, but I'm happy with about 31 minutes."

And this is our award-winning photographer Anthony Chappel-Ross, who has been taking first-class pictures of the runners, fundraisers and the whole event.

Here's our reporter Dan Bean, who has been taking his best shots of just a few of the fundraisers taking part in today's Race For Life, supporting the runners on behalf of The Press.

A big team from Knaresborough here - the Foundation Fitties - who have raised more than £860 in advance of today, and hope to break the £1,000 mark after the race! 

In no particular order, Debbie Scott, Sam Davy, Sheena Morley, Sarah Sturges, Sarah Dell and Lucy Lee, with Ruby Scott, Harry Lee, Lewis Davy, Joshua Knight and Luke Morley (all five), and Riley Sturgess (aged four). 

Well done everyone, that's a great amount - hope you all got round the 5km alright!

It's looking like the participants in today's York event have raised an incredible £159,000 for Cancer Research!

An absolutely amazing figure, well done ladies!
