The Popular Stand at Huntington Stadium will be named after former York Wasps chairman John Stabler for the remainder of the 2012 season after he won the draw for the naming rights.
Knights fans could pay £50 to have their name entered into a hat, and Stabler’s was the one drawn out at half-time of yesterday’s win over Gateshead.
All money raised by the draw went to the club’s squad builder fund.
