THE sending off of Sean Carmody prompted a second-half collapse as York City Knights reserves tumbled to a 54-16 defeat at Oldham.
The sides were locked at 12-12 at half-time in Saturday’s match after Knights tries for Tom Bush and Matty Woods, plus two goals from Tom Holmes.
After Carmody’s dismissal at Whitebank, all the visitors could muster was a try by Ed Smith. Paul Stamp missed the conversion attempt.
