YORK Knights' Betfred Challenge Cup Third Round tie at Dewsbury Rams will be broadcast on The Sportsman.

Andrew Henderson's side will travel to the FLAIR Stadium on February 11 for the all-Betfred Championship clash, which will kick-off at 2pm.

The Sportsman has broadcast matches in both of the competition's rounds to date, including York Acorn's 22-12 Second Round victory at Orrell St James last Sunday.

Ata Hingano scored and set up another try on his debut as York triumphed 22-10 on their last visit to Dewsbury in 2022, but the Rams were proudly unbeaten at home last season when they gained promotion from Betfred League One at the first time of asking.

Both sides have played competitively just once in 2024 thus far, with the Knights romping to a record-breaking 114-10 triumph at troubled Newcastle Thunder, whilst the Rams were comfortably beaten at Keighley Cougars in their respective AB Sundecks 1895 Cup group stage clashes.

Henderson's charges will be hoping to replicate last year's run to the Challenge Cup Quarter Finals, which saw them overcome West Bowling, Sheffield Eagles, Newcastle Thunder and London Broncos.

However, the Betfred Super League's in-form Leigh Leopards proved a stretch too far for a Knights squad ravaged by injury, four tries in the final 20 minutes sealing progression for Adrian Lam's side, who then went on to lift the trophy at Wembley.

The winner of the tie will host either Sheffield Eagles or Newcastle Thunder on the weekend of February 24-25.

Oldham's trip to Barrow Raiders has also been selected for broadcast on BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer on February 10 from 12.20pm.

Meanwhile, Acorn face the near-800 mile round trip to League One's Cornwall for their Third Round tie, with the winner hosting either Stanningley or Wath Brow Hornets in Round Four.
