YORK RLFC will launch their playing kits for the 2024 season with a special event on Saturday, November 11.

The club's principal and alternate playing kits will be unveiled at a kit launch at Thor's Tipi on the grounds of The Principal Hotel.

Supporters and guests are advised to arrive from 5:45pm, with the kit revealed at 6:30pm.

Players from both York Knights and York Valkyrie will be in attendance at the event, with a range of refreshments and entertainment available throughout the evening.

Attendance to the event is free of charge, though supporters are asked to register their interest here.

The Knights will be looking to build on a fantastic end to the 2023 Betfred Championship season, which saw Andrew Henderson's side enjoy a run of 10 wins from their final 11 fixtures to claim the final place in the Play-offs.

Though they fell at the first hurdle against Bradford Bulls in the Play-off Eliminator, they also reached the Quarter Final stage of the Betfred Challenge Cup before defeat to eventual winners Leigh Leopards.

For Lindsay Anfield's Valkyrie, 2023 marked a season full of historic firsts.

An unbeaten regular Betfred Women's Super League season saw them become the first team to claim back-to-back League Leaders' Shields, before they earned a first-ever Grand Final victory with a 16-6 triumph over fierce rivals Leeds Rhinos in front of a record crowd at the LNER Community Stadium.

The Valkyrie paraded their trophies along the River Ouse earlier this month, with chairman Clint Goodchild announcing that the club would become the first in the Women's Super League to offer professional contracts last week in a ground-breaking move for women's rugby league.
