YORK RLFC are offering free tickets to Military personnel and their families in celebration of their Armed Forces Day this weekend.

Military personnel can claim up to two adult, two concessions and four under 16s tickets free of charge for this Sunday's double-header, which will begin at 12pm with an unmissable clash between York Valkyrie and fierce rivals Leeds Rhinos in a repeat of last year's Betfred Women's Super League Grand Final.

Lindsay Anfield's side will be hoping to make it six wins from six in the competition this season, having laid down their marker for the title with a 12-34 triumph at Headingley Stadium on the opening day of the season.

York Knights will then face off against play-off hopefuls Sheffield Eagles as they look to continue their recent resurgence in the Betfred Championship (3pm).

The Knights head into the encounter full of confidence after back-to-back wins against Halifax Panthers and Keighley Cougars - the latter which saw them score 50 points for the first time in the league this season.
