York City Knights have confirmed that teenage outside back Cameron Scott has extended his loan from Super League side Hull FC until the end of the 2019 season.
Former England Academy captain Scott joined York on a one-month loan last month and since then has played four matches, scoring a try in every game as the Knights won three and drew one.
Scott’s extension comes as a major boost to the Knights’ hopes of a play-off finish in the Betfred Championship as they currently sit second in the table with six games remaining.
The winger or centre is in line to feature for York’s crucial league clash with last year’s League 1 title rivals Bradford Bulls at Bootham Crescent this Sunday (3pm kick-off).
Scott made his Super League debut for parent club Hull FC in May of last year and since made seven appearances for the Black and Whites. He has also represented Doncaster and Dewsbury Rams on loan.
