IT might not have topped the most famous Easter comeback of all time, but York City Knights enjoyed a magical revival of their own on Bank Holiday Monday.
After losing at Widnes Vikings in the Challenge Cup the previous weekend and falling heavily at Featherstone on Good Friday, James Ford's men appeared to be heading for a third straight defeat when the Vikings invaded Bootham Crescent and went 10-0 up.
But the Knights - from the real Viking city of Jorvik, of course - came back from the near dead to win 17-10 thanks to a 22-minute blitz.
The result - against the full-time former Super League club - continued a wonderful season for Ford's upstarts, who remain fourth in the Championship following their promotion last year.
Re-live the victory under the sun here with these assorted pictures from our man Gordon Clayton.
