YORK City Knights have been drawn away to Betfred Championship rivals Widnes Vikings in round five of the Coral Challenge Cup.

The Knights will travel to Halton Stadium on the weekend of Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14.

Coach James Ford and his in-form York side reached this stage with a 32-16 victory at Barrow Raiders on Sunday, despite fielding a much changed line-up.

They have carried that impressive league form into the Challenge Cup and progressed to round five with a 54-14 victory at Oldham on Sunday.

Following the Challenge Cup tie, the sides will meet again in the league at Bootham Crescent on Easter Monday, April 22.

Round 5 draw: Hull KR v Leigh Centurions, Widnes Vikings v York City Knights, Thatto Heath Crusaders v Dewsbury Rams, Leeds Rhinos v Workington Town, Halifax v London Broncos, Bradford Bulls v Featherstone Rovers, Salford Red Devils v Rochdale Hornets, Doncaster v Batley Bulldogs. Ties to be played on weekend of April 13 and 14.
