YORK City Knights RL Club are hoping winger Lee Lingard might yet get a run-out in pre-season, despite having his operation put back two weeks.
Lingard was due to undergo surgery to clean knee cartilage on January 2 but could not get time off work and was instead set to go under the knife today.
That would give him just ten days before the Knights play Castleford, or 19 days before they play Leeds, ahead of the 2007 season opener away to Gateshead on February 11.
