YORK Minstermen will have a table in KitKat Crescent's car park during the club's last two scheduled home games of the season against Halifax Town (Easter Monday) and Hereford United (April 29).

The supporters' group will have volunteers manning the stall from 1.30pm and fans will be able to return their sold spring raffle tickets, as well as buy or collect more for additional sales.

A total of £4,000 has already been raised by the raffle and tickets need to be returned before the quiz night on Thursday, May 4 when the draw will be made.

Tickets can also be bought for the York Minstermen End of Season party, which will be held at KitKat Crescent Social Club on Friday, May 12 and will include the presentation of the York Minstermen Player of the Season Trophy.

The tickets cost £6 for members and £8 for non-members with the price including one drink, a buffet, entry to a prize draw, a disco and other fun activities.

A Goal of the Season winner will also be announced on the night and fans can make their top three nominations at the new York Minstermen stall with the entry fee £1 and a prize available for one person that agrees with the choice of City manager Billy McEwan.

A York City signed shirt, donated by Mark Woodhouse who was the successful bidder at the dinner held to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the Minstermen's League Cup victory over Manchester United, is also being raffled and tickets are available from the stall for £1 with the winner again announced at the End of Season party.

World Cup Sweepstake entries are now being taken as well, costing £1 with a draw taking place at the York Minstermen annual meeting in late May.

The list of entries will appear on the web-site www.yorkminstermen.org.uk and posted in the window of the club shop.

Supporters will also be able to visit the stall to enter the York Minstermen monthly draw, which costs £5 with a guaranteed cash prize of at least £75, or enrol as a member for the 2006/2007 season with the fee £5 for adults and £2 for juniors.

THE fourth annual Keith Walwyn Fans' Six-A-Side Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 15 at Huntington Secondary School's astro-turf pitches.

Entries are now being accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis with a team's place in the competition only confirmed when the full payment of £75 is received.

Registration is at 9.45am with the competition kicking off at 10am and ending after the three finals have finished at about 5.45pm.

A maximum of ten players are permitted in each side and teams can enter by e-mailing owen.willis@scarborough.gov.uk with arrangements then being made to collect payment.
