YORK City academy graduate Josh Rogerson has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The York-born 18-year-old centre-back joined his hometown club seven years ago and has featured regularly for the reserves this season.
Rogerson said: "It's always been a dream and this is all I have wanted to do since I have been a kid.
"I am a local lad, I went to Huntington School, and I have played for the club since I was about 10.
"It will be tough but I am looking forward to pre-season training.
"I am going to try and push for the first team and try and help the club get promotion."
Rogerson is the second academy player to join the professional ranks at the club this week following the signing of midfielder Harry Thompson.
