THE TOP 16 players in the world have entered the Betway UK championship, one of snooker's Triple Crown events.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, John Higgins, Mark Selby, Shaun Murphy and defending champion Neil Robertson are among the favourites to win the tournament which is held at York Barbican next month.
Entries closed last week and it will be the strongest possible field with 128 players contesting the £170,000 top prize over 13 days.
The tournament runs from November 22 to December 4 and several of the top players have already had their first round matches scheduled - giving snooker fans the opportunity to book in advance for their favourites.
Ding Junhui, Trump, Marco Fu, Barry Hawkins, and Kyren Wilson will all be in action on the opening day, Tuesday November 22.
O'Sullivan, Higgins, and Murphy are playing on Wednesday November 23 along with other big names including Liang Wenbo, Ricky Walden, and Mark Allen.
The third day's action, Thursday November 24, will involve players such as Mark Williams, Ali Carter, Selby, Stuart Bingham, Robertson, and Joe Perry
With eight tables in the arena in the early stages, supporters can watch several matches for the price of a single ticket.
All-day tickets for the early stages start at just £11. For details call 0844 854 2757 or visit www.worldsnooker.com/tickets
