Pocklington RUFC proved too strong for depleted Goole in Yorkshire Two, scoring nine tries in a 62-10 success.

Pock got under way with an early Nick Bennett penalty and then hooker Brett Britton went over.

Goole kicked a penalty before home scrum-half Mark Stringer burst clear to score.

Winger Dan Pickard rampaged over for two more tries at the end of the first half.

Pock turned the screw with a brace of tries by number eight Dan Wilson.

Flanker Jack Holbrough also charged over, with replacement front-rowers Dave Birch and Chris Morton both getting a touchdown. Centre Bennett converted six of the home tries.

Goole replacement Jason Walton, who was sin-binned before laying a hand on the ball, crashed over for his side’s only try.

Fly-half Mike Stoakes converted to add to his earlier penalty.
