YORK RI RUFC gained a bonus point victory over Knaresborough in Yorkshire Four at New Lane.
The home side's 24-3 victory included four tries as they remained in contention for a second-placed finish in the division.
After six minutes, Andy Brentnall cut through the visitors' defence to score out wide and Baptiste Brui added the long range conversion.
Boro kicked a penalty but, just before the interval, man of the match Ben Hartop scored for RI and Brui added the extras for a 14-3 half-time lead.
The second half was a dour struggle with RI playing into a stiff wind.
However, after 33 minutes, Rob Cuthbertson scored a well taken try and, at the death, Martin Ward finished proceedings with a try.
