NESTLE Rowntree RUFC celebrated having a home fixture for the first time in eight weeks by scoring ten tries as they overwhelmed Whitby II 64-5.
'Trees ran with the ball at every opportunity, with good handling and support from the forwards, and led 31-0 at half-time.
To their credit Whitby responded with a good period of pressure at the start of the second-half and were rewarded with a try from their impressive scrum-half but Nestle finished strongly with a flurry of tries in the final quarter.
The most delighted scorer was German winger Seb Bos with his first try since taking up the sport this season.
Other tries came from forwards Rob Sellers (2), Geoff Howard and Iain Leadbeater and backs Peter Shores, Ryan Bushell, Chris Moores and John Atkin (2), who also landed seven conversions.
