NEW Earswick ARLC coaches Alan Pallister and Chris Judge are proving to be sticklers for perfection.

The All Blacks have begun their debut season in the Pennine League's premier division with two wins, including a defeat of highly-rated Elland.

But Pallister and Judge will not be resting on their laurels, nor taking Saturday's Yorkshire Cup second round tie against division one side Moldgreen lightly.

All Blacks spokesman Mark Tipping said: "We will be hoping to build on last week's fine display against Elland, but, despite the convincing victory, we leaked 32 points and will be looking to toughen up our one-on-one defence.

"It's cup rugby and you only get one chance, and Moldgreen who have won three out of three in division one will be coming through expecting to cause an upset."

A few of last week's team are unavailable, but James Sanderson, Robbie Beavers, Tom Dale and Casey Raven could all be in line for their first starts of the season. Dan Wellard has also returned from honeymoon and Tom Hodgson, Al Davison and Steve Perks could return after injury.

Meanwhile, the All Blacks are in talks with Jamaican rugby league club Duhaney Park Sharks about a twinning arrangement.

The York outfit were contacted by Sharks coach Romeo Monteith after he met with Tipping while visiting Leeds with the Jamaica Rugby League Association.

Monteith said: "Maybe we could forge an official relationship just as the Vauxhall Vultures and the Leeds Rhinos have done.

"I know All Blacks are an amateur club, but I think there is lots the Sharks could learn from them by way of technical support, player and official exchanges and such possibilities on a scale manageable by both clubs in the future."

All Blacks have previously donated a set of jerseys to the Sharks to help the growth of rugby league in the Caribbean, and Tipping, the York club's sponsorship manager, said: "The Sharks guys are really enthusiastic about playing rugby league.

"We obviously can't offer the same support levels that Leeds Rhinos can but if we can help and advise on the running of an amateur club we will be more than happy to do so."
