NEW Earswick All Blacks' start in the Pennine League top flight will be delayed until September 9 when they entertain last year's fourth-placed side Keighley Albion.
The All Blacks were due to face old rivals Halifax Irish on Saturday but, with several officials involved in the club's two-day Annual Junior Gala and the bulk of the squad attending centre Dan Wellard's wedding on the same day, the league agreed to postpone the fixture.
Selby Warriors, who in the Pennine League reshuffle ended up being promoted from division four after finishing third, start their division three campaign at Wyke, while York Groves begin at Thornton in division five.
