YORK Ladies ARLC rounded off their regular season with a crushing 86-4 victory over Whinmoor Ladies in the National Conference Women’s East Division.
The high-scoring victory ensured York finished third in the table and head into the play-offs in confident mood.
York scored three tries in the opening ten minutes, through winger Natalie Marsland, scrum-half Katie Langan and stand-off Lou Deakin.
Further tries by second-rower Teri Chu, loose-forward Bev Langan, centre Carly Hilton and full-back Chelsea Moore made it 44-0 at half-time.
In the second half, Katie Langan and player of the match Natalie Marsland completed their hat-tricks, while there were also touch downs for Deakin, prop Zoe Franks, Chu and Bev Langan.
Centre Carly Hilton kicked ten conversions and Franks one.
