HEWORTH ARLC head coach Scott Rhodes reckons his side are capable of another perfect winning month - starting on Saturday at Millom.

The Black and Whites went into the Bank Holiday Weekend break with three National Conference League division three wins from three in May.

And Rhodes has no reason to believe the run will stop in June, with four "winnable" fixtures against Millom, Dewsbury Celtic, Waterhead Warriors and Gateshead Storm.

"Hopefully we'll have a good June and pick up maximum points," he said.

"We looked at May and thought we could win them all - and we did win them all.

"These are all winnable.

"We're looking forward to it and getting stuck in.

"The Bank Holiday and the Magic Weekend (in Super League, when most of the amateur game takes a break) came at the wrong time. We'd been on a bit of a good run, but it is what it is and we look forward to going to Millom this weekend.

"It's a long trip and a difficult place to go, Cumbria, but we're very capable of taking two points. We're very confident.

"The boys are playing well and we're going there with maximum points in May, the squad's looking healthy and, for the first time this season, we have players playing for positions."

Former York City Knights quartet Ben Dent, James Morland, George Elliott and Adam Dent as well as Joe Deighton are among the players back available. Former dual-reg player Liam Richmond, meanwhile, is now a full Heworth player after being released by League One outfit Newcastle Thunder.

Rhodes added: "We've got that consistency of selection now. We can select our best, or our near-enough best, side, which is what we've been lacking this year.

"We've got very capable players all over the pitch - they're good amateur players.

"I'm sure if we can get our attitude right and play to our strengths we'll come away with two points.

"It's a lovely playing field at Millom. We're looking forward to playing our best stuff and picking up two points."
