MILLTHORPE School were convincing winners of the U14 National Schools’ tournament.
Runners-up to Millthorpe were Joseph Rowntree, with both advancing as York and District representatives in the county round.
The Millthorpe team are led by sports teacher Sarah Watts are: Deni Hancox, Rachel Jarman, Laura Stables, Charli Wareham, Cassie Thomas, Holly Murphy and Beth Preston.
The Jo-Ro team was: Emily Beaumont, Vicky Miles, Sophie Burder, Polly Ambler, Beth Ellis, Hannah Clayton and Abi Bellerby.
