ZAK MOORCROFT starred for Team Jorvik at Rotherham Metro’s Graded meet at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

The 14-year-old clocked the fastest 50 metre (short course) backstroke time of the year in the North East Region in his age group.

He won gold medals in the 50m breaststroke, 50m butterfly and 100m backstroke, silver in the 100m butterfly and bronze in the 50m and 100m freestyle races.

Sam Enticknap, 13, had personal best times and fourth places in the 100 metres individual medley (IM), 100m butterfly and 50m breaststroke.

He also clocked a PB in the 100m freestyle.

Joseph Senior, also 13, followed suit with personal best times in seven events taking gold in the 100m backstroke, silver in the 100m freestyle and bronze in the 100m butterfly.

Antonia Bunyan, 14, achieved a full set of personal best times in her six events, winning gold in the 50m butterfly and bronze in the 100m freestyle.

Emily Hill, 12, took silver in the 50m breaststroke and bronze in the 100m breaststroke Amy Clark, 13, and her 11-year-old sister Fay Clark, competing for the first time at the international pool in Sheffield, bagged impressive personal best times across their 11 events.

Newcomer Maya Appleyard, 13, set new personal best times across four events and 14-year-old Georgia Kemp swam two personal best times, taking a bronze medal in 50m breaststroke.
