FIVE gold medals were won by Tadcaster Swim Squad members at the Kingstonupon- Hull Swimming Club Easter ‘A’/‘B’ grade gala.
The Tadcaster swimmers took part in 32 races and conjured 26 personal best times, with 14 new short course squad record set.
The gold medal winners were 12-year-old Tamlin Barker, of Bickerton, Hannah Sharpe, 12, of Clifford, 12-year-old Max Walker, of Newton Kyme, Boston Spa’s Alex Williams, nine, and 15-year-old Emma Williams, of Tadcaster.
Other medallists were Jemima Browning, 12, of Stutton, Tadcaster’s Tom Carswell, 12, Chloe Collins, 13, of Tadcaster, and ten-yearold Marija Hiscott, of Brayton.
The Tadcaster squad also included James Alldridge, 15, of Boston Spa, Rachael McHenery, 12, of Tockwith, and Lily Walker, 14, of Newton Kyme.
