A TEAM of 14 Tadcaster Swim Squad members bagged 42 personal best times and ten speeding tickets from 54 swims at the Scarborough Kingfishers Gala.
The gold medal winners were 12-year-old Charlotte Black, of Garforth, Tadcaster’s Alex Chappell, 11, Benjamin Colling, 12, of Ulleskelf, 12-year-old Rachael McHenery, of Tockwith, Louis Romer, 14, of Sherburn-in-Elmet, and Clifford’s Hannah Sharpe, 12.
There were also medals for Meredith Armstrong, 13, of Appleton Roebuck, Emily Ball, 14, of Tadcaster, 14-year-old Lucy Dobson, of Garforth, and Rachel Kennedy, 13, of Clifford.
The Tadcaster squad also included Georgia Banks, 12, of Tadcaster, and Stutton-based trio Jemima Browning, 12, Alex Heard, 12, and Ellie Heard, 14.
