HEWORTH 'A' completed a York Conservative Clubs Snooker League and Cup double when they beat Malton 4-1 in the final of the Knock Out competition, sponsored by Greene King.
The final took place at Fulford and saw Heworth victories for Mark Winskill, Steve Burdett and Neil Wood, plus a walkover, with Malton's reply coming from Paul Nicholson.
The match, refereed by Tom Lewis, Tim Fillingham and Alan Reed, was followed by the presentation night of team and individual cups and awards.
