YORK Indoor Bowls Club were represented in three disciplines in the Yorkshire Knockout finals - and all three came away with victories.
In the triples, Phil Herridge's team, represented by Alan Vowles, Neal Macdonald and Phil Parsons were level at 11-11 against Thornaby but finished the game early at 21-11 after scoring a magnificent seven.
Tony Horobin was involved in a long Senior Singles final which took 27 ends to complete.
North Cave's Geoff Blunn led 18-17 before Horobin's experience came through as he won 22-18.
Macdonald won the Under-25s Singles trophy after a tie-break.
Mcdonald held on to take the first set 7-6 but Scarborough's Matt Bell took the second 9-4.
Bell won the first end of the tie-break but Macdonald won the next two for a 2-1 victory.
Meanwhile, Vowles, Parsons, Malcolm Lewars and Horobin also comfortably beat North Cave in the National Over-60s Fours Area final to reach the National finals at Nottingham on April 5 where they will meet Westlecot IBC.
Zoe Eagles and John Harris beat fellow York members Mark and Emily Clarke 20-11 in the National Family Pairs Area final and will now play Kingsthorpe at Nottingham on April 14.
York completed their North Eastern Ladies' League season with a 78-43 defeat to North Cave.
Pat Berwick, Bernadette Johnson, Bar Saville and Pauline Armitage were York's only victors, winning 19-17 at home after North Cave had fought back from 15-4 down to level at 17-17.
Brenda Love, Chris Reaston, Sue Jeffrey and Pauline Cooper lost 16-11, while, away, Jen Brown, Dee Robinson, Tina Robinson and Maggie Pallister went down 20-7, and Ann Donaldson, Sheila Clargo, Denise Elliott and Joan Knight lost 25-6.
On Saturday, York IBC hosts the Disability Bowls England Inter Club competition, starting at 9.45am.
