YORK Knavesmire Harriers ace Helen Cross helped the Yorkshire Senior Women's team win gold at the Inter-County Cross Country Championships.
As the sole team member from North Yorkshire, Cross was the third White Rose runner to cross the line, finishing 22nd at Loughborough.
Meanwhile, at the Spen 20, the Harriers ladies took the team prize in the 20-mile West Yorkshire road race.
The club's Becky Penty was the second lady to finish while Aoife Burke was the first F35 and David Smithers first M45.
