ANTHEA JAMIESON gamed in 23 darts to help York John Smith's Ladies' Darts League division two leaders Edinburgh Arms recover to beat Saddle 7-2.

Vicky McClaren had put the visitors in front only for Donna Lynes, Amanda Bevan, Chris Lamb and Emma Frankland to seal the win for the home team.

Sharon Nelson checked out on 73 in the pairs with Chris Patterson to double Saddle's tally.

Holgate ‘B’ and Priory were 3-3 entering the pairs. Sandra Pallister and Mandy Young edged Priory in front before Alice Turgoose and Sarah Evans set up a decider which saw Linda Pallister and Sheila Harrison snatch a 5-4 victory for Priory.

Leeman ‘B’ and Holgate ‘A’ were also tied heading into the pairs, where Alison Buckley and Jackie Young, then Kirsty Limbert and Sandra Flintoft sealed a 5-4 win for the visitors.

Leeman ‘A’ had Margaret Yeomans winning the opener at Severus ‘A’ but Glynnis Simpson, Sue Clark and Sue Richardson replied to send the hosts to a 6-3 win.

Division one leaders Acomb fell behind at home to Marcia but Jayne Janes, Gina Whittaker, Tracey Farmeary, Bev Harton and two wins in the pairs sealed match points for the table-toppers.

Burnholme beat Severus 'B' 5-4 with Jo West and Jane Dobson sealing victory in the pairs. Dobson, Sarah Jackson and the pair of Sharon Matthews and Marj Pearson sent Burnholme into the pairs 4-2 up before Sue Gillon and Dot Sellars narrowed the gap.

Jody Hancock, Anita Adams, Elaine Metcalfe and Doreen Johnstone set Slipper on their way to a 5-4 win at Fulfordgate. The hosts' pairs of Dawn Exton and Michelle Britton and Muriel with Cara Britton set up a decider that saw Sue Tait and Sarah Wheatley snatch victory.

Beagle had victory sewn up before the pairs through Georgina Clayton, Karen Alton, Nella Majsterek, Wendy Sullivan and captain Becky Thompson. Lauren Tattersfield broke Acorn's duck.

Burton Stone remain top of the White Rose Ladies' League following a 6-1 victory at Acomb Sports. Burton Stone's Toni Smallwood played superb darts with high scores of 140 and 100 plus a bull finish and a 21-darter. Acomb Sports' only winner was Gemma Jamieson.

Bootham Conservative Club lost 5-2 to Ebor, whose Christina Davison had high scores of 117 and 110, while New Earswick Bowls Club lost 5-2 to Holgate.

Monika Geller claimed the final game to secure Indoor Bowls' 4-3 win at King William.
