FREE of prawn damage, Simon Dyson will be hoping to be back in the pink when the French Open starts today.
Dyson heads into the European Tour event, which carries a prize fund of three million euros, hoping to have shook off an adverse reaction to a prawn meal which forced him out of his bid to qualify for next month’s Open after just four holes at Scotland’s Links course on Monday.
That bout of food poisoning interrupted a run of form that brought a joint fifth spot in the BMW International Open in Germany last weekend to elevate him 24 places to 127th in the world.
Dyson will start his bid at Le Golf National course in Paris today alongside South African duo Thomas Aiken and George Coetzee.
