AFTER a storming inroad in the Spanish Open, York’s Simon Dyson tailed off.
Starting on the tenth hole on the Catalunya course, Dyson eagled the par-five 15th, but that impact crashed with successive bogeys on the very next two holes.
The 36-year-old posted two more bogeys before birdying the seventh to finish one-over par, five shots adrift of first round leader, England’s Eddie Pepperell.
