YORK-BORN golfer Simon Dyson has dropped to 177th in the world rankings in the wake of a second successive missed cut.
Dyson bowed out at the halfway stage of both the Africa Open and the Joburg Open, results which saw him slip eight places from 169th in the world.
The Malton & Norton Golf Club ace will be aiming to avoid a South African hat-trick when he resumes his European Tour campaign at the Tshwane Open next week.
The Malton & Norton Golf Club ace is scheduled to compete at the Copperleaf Golf and Country Estate in Centurion from Thursday, February 27.
