FORMER Kartiers players made a comeback to take on a Selby All-Stars XI in a charity fundraising match.
Members of the Kartiers squad that won division three of the York Minster Engineering Football League in 1993/4 took on an All-Stars side featuring several ex-players from the team which disbanded three years.
The match was organised by former manager Ian Jennings to raise money for the James Whale Fund For Kidney Cancer and the Meningitis Trust.
Jennings, pictured far right, said: βIt was good to see so many of the old players back in the club strip and I think everyone enjoyed the game.β
