ALAN MOULT was the winner of Shepherd Angling Club’s match in challenging conditions on the River Ouse at Beningbrough Village.
A field of nine anglers took on a clear and low river in heavy, blustery showers and Moult won with 2lb 4oz of perch and roach from the stones area at the top end of the length.
Second was Matt Crowl, who caught three perch for 1lb 11oz feeder fishing in the middle of the length.
Third was John Sturdy with 1lb 8oz from the stones area.
