EASI-ROCKIT HellDivers are the new VX Yorkshire and Humber Regional League second division champions.
Maintaining their 100 per cent record this season with a 159-97 win over Ripon VorteX and a 257-166 triumph over stable-mates HellFighters, HellDivers now have an unassailable lead at the top of the table.
HellFighters also managed to beat VorteX 172-168.
Both teams were also in action at the VX National Centre of Excellence tournament, which York Phoneix won after beating HellFighters in the final, having disposed of last-four opponents HellDivers.
In the junior competition, Easi’s youngsters, led well by captain Rob Leyshon, claimed third place, beating Scunthorpe Rams 130-103 after losing their semi-final to eventual winners Scunthorpe Tigers.
Henry Pittham and David Leyshon, meanwhile, finished runners-up in the Imps V4 category after only losing one game.
The Junior V4 contest saw their Easi team-mates Rob and Matthew Leyshon and Archie Bell and Ben Stevens achieve third-place finishes in their respective groups.
