STAMFORD Bridge wicketkeeper-batsman Lauren Winfield is counting down to her England one-day international debut.
Yorkshire star Winfield is in the 15-player England squad for two NatWest women’s one-day internationals and two NatWest women’s International T20 matches against Pakistan.
The opening ODI will be played at Louth CC in Lincolnshire on July 1, with the second at Loughborough University two days later. The T20 clashes will both be staged at Loughborough on July 5.
Winfield has progressed through the England Womens’ Performance Pathway.
Winfield has played several games for Stamford Bridge in the Hunters York & District Senior League and was the Low Catton Road club’s regular second-team ’keeper in 2008.
