A member of the Bridlington-Millau Petanque Club in East Yorkshire has set a new record.
Aled Jones won the Yorkshire Winter League for an unprecedented third consecutive year.
He secured his unique triple title at The Fox Petanque Club, in York’s Stockton-on-the-Forest, in the eighth and final round of a competition that saw him win 27 games out of 40 played over a four-month winter campaign.
