AGGRIEVED at getting nought from their midweek excursion to the Midlands, Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is looking to blot out a second successive spot of Blues bother.

Leeds’ seven-game undefeated run crashed at the home of Birmingham City’s the Blues, where the points were decided by a lone Nikola Zigic strike.

Now Grayson’s charges are back at Elland Road for an npower Championship Sunday special against the Bluebirds of fellow promotion hopefuls Cardiff.

Instead of welcoming the Welsh outfit by holding a share of third position, Leeds are back in fifth just a point clear of ninth-placed Cardiff.

Grayson was hoping for a change in fortune from the ill-luck suffered at St Andrews.

“We created some decent chances but in the end we maybe just did not get the breaks we deserved. We certainly didn’t deserve to lose.”

With the return of Robert Snodgrass to the attack at least Leeds’ firepower should be at full tilt.

And one striker eager to make an impact will be ten-goal marksman Ross McCormack.

The Scottish international spent two seasons at Cardiff from 2008 to 2010 during which time he bagged an impressive 29 goals in 74 appearances.
