ELLAND Road legend Gary McAllister today returned to Leeds United as manager.
The 43-year-old, who made more than 300 appearances for the Whites, has been appointed successor to Dennis Wise, who has moved to Newcastle United.
Earlier it was confirmed that assistant manager Dave Bassett had left the club.
