Paul Hanagan, in action at York yesterday and today, is on his travels again tomorrow when he heads to deepest Sussex with the chance of enjoying a productive afternoon at Goodwood.

The reigning champion jockey has good prospects of a four-timer aboard Shebebi, Coolminx, Estebsaal and Muharrer, who bids to make it two from two in the Goodwood Racecourse Owners Group Handicap.

The colt, trained by Marcus Tregoning, got off the mark on his debut at Pontefract last month. He looks a decent prospect in the making and, although still lacking in experience, he can follow up here on his handicap bow.

Shebebi goes for the Betfred Irish Stallion Farms Nursery and is napped to follow up his latest success at Folkestone.

The John Dunlop-trained juvenile has run only three times and has improved with every race. There is probably more to come from him and a starting mark of 81 for his handicap debut looks fair.

Estebsaal, also trained by Dunlop, lines up for the Lavant House School Diamond Jubilee Handicap. A seven-length winner at Nottingham two starts back over a mile, he has since failed to stay ten furlongs at Lingfield. He is back over the shorter distance tomorrow.

Hanagan teams up with his old boss Richard Fahey in the Betfred “The Home Of Goals Galore” Handicap when the partnership join forces with Coolminx, a winner at Hamilton on her latest start.

That success came hot on the heels of a useful effort, just 48 hours earlier, when fourth in the Ayr Bronze Cup.

Coolminx is at her best on soft going and with conditions again likely to be in her favour tomorrow, she should go well.

The Goodwood card kicks off with the annual Betfred-sponsored Flat versus Jump Jockeys Challenge Handicap.

Leighton Aspell, who represents the National Hunt fraternity, has as good a chance as any aboard the hat-trick seeking Presto Volante.

The four-year-old, trained by Amanda Perrett, has won his last two starts in cosy style. He is up another 6lb, but he may be able to keep pace with the handicapper.

In the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing Maiden Stakes, Nichols Canyon is selected to make it third-time-lucky.

A likeable colt, trained by John Gosden, the juvenile has finished in the frame in both his starts to date, at Sandown. He looks a progressive sort and the type to make up into a decent three-year-old next season.
