Frankie Dettori is the star attraction at Redcar tomorrow when he travels from his Newmarket base to take five mounts - all of which have strong chances.

Dettori's principal ride is aboard Very Far, trained by Saeed bin Suroor for his bosses Godolphin in the John Smith's Redcar Straight-Mile Championship Handicap, the penultimate qualifier for a £30,000 final at the end of next month.

Very Far, who cost $575,000 as a yearling, has run just once to date, winning a maiden race at Windsor on his debut earlier this month.

There is surely more to come from Very Far, who makes his handicap bow here and is fancied to fulfil his Windsor promise.

Dettori can kick-off on a winning note aboard So Sweet in the Weddings At Redcar Nursery over seven furlongs.

Trained by Mick Channon, So Sweet broke her maiden in determined style at Newmarket last month when getting the better of Zonta Zitkala, the favourite, by a short head.

That was only her second appearance and So Sweet, who is surely open to further improvement, promises to have the edge over her handicap rivals.

High Ridge is Dettori's mount in the Constant Security Handicap over six furlongs and Milton Bradley's gelding has a fighting chance in a wide-open race.

The seven-year-old can be forgiven his latest unplaced effort at Lingfield, where he received a bump at the start and then pulled too hard for his own good.

The promising Woolfall Blue in the Racing UK Channel 432 Maiden Stakes promises to give Dettori a good ride, as does York Cliff in the Transmore Van Hire Handicap over one mile and six furlongs.

York Cliff failed by a whisker to come out on top in an amateur riders' race at Chester last Friday. He will receive stronger assistance from the former champion jockey tomorrow.

Northern racegoers can look forward to a double-header tomorrow with Beverley staging the final evening meeting of the season.

The best bet on the card is Onenightinlisbon in the £15,000 Sailors Families Society Nursery, the richest race on the card, over five furlongs.

A course-and-distance winner when trained by Paul Midgley, Onenightinlisbon has since won a Musselburgh nursery for Burke, and also ran well in defeat on her latest start. She is napped to make the most of her favourable high draw.

John Quinn's horses are in fine form and his promising Monashee Brave looks to have bright prospects of breaking his duck in the Weatherbys Insurance Maiden Stakes.
