NORTH Yorkshire will boast a three-pronged challenge in tomorrow’s Grand National.
The Aintree course will be tackled by two horses under the stewardship of Norton trainers John Quinn and Malcolm Jefferson, while West Witton handler Ferdy Murphy also has a horse in the 40-strong field.
Murphy’s prospect, Big Fella Thanks, was among the early favourites. But there will be plenty of Norton support for Quinn’s Character Building, seventh in last year’s race, and King Fontaine, saddled by Jefferson.
