FOLLOW a certain North Yorkshire jockey tomorrow and there’s every chance there could be not one or two, but five winners as the reward.

Joe Fanning has a whole host of fancied mounts at Southwell, where he is selected to complete a four-timer, before he heads to Wolverhampton’s evening meeting, where he has excellent prospects of landing the concluding race on Tartan Gigha.

The Mark Johnston-trained four-year-old won well on his seasonal debut at Kempton last week. A 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent him from completing a quick double in the Try Bet Angel At try.betangel.com Handicap.

Back at Southwell, where Fanning had a double last week, the jockey looks set for an exciting afternoon.

Two of his mounts are for in-form trainer Ron Harris. Swiss Art (2.55) is not the easiest of horses to get in front, but Chris Catlin managed it here a fortnight ago and there is no doubt that if Swiss Art goes about his job once again, this seller is certainly within his grasp.

Spic ‘N Span (3.30), also trained by Harris, is napped to follow up his recent course-and-distance win in the claiming race.

Although it was a blanket finish last time he won, Spic ‘N Span appeared to be idling close home. He is expected to oblige once again.

Fanning joins forces with Westow trainer Paul Midgley in the sprint handicap, in which the pair will be represented by Dispol Grand.

A Musselburgh winner last season, Dispol Grand ran a good third to Smokey Ryder here last month. That comeback run should have done its bit in bringing Dispol Grand on and a winning opportunity beckons tomorrow.

Fanning can finish off a lucrative stint at Southwell aboard Green Agenda (5.15) in the one-mile handicap.

Trained by Mark Johnston, the three-year-old has won both his starts on the all-weather this winter, at Kempton and Lingfield.

There could be plenty more to come from this son of Anabaa, who is developing into a decent prospect. A hat-trick looks on the cards for him.

Paul Hanagan journeys to Wolverhampton to be reunited with Tyrannosaurus Rex (7.50).

Trained by Derek Shaw, the five-year-old was ridden to victory by Hanagan over this course and distance two weeks ago.

It would come as no surprise to see the combination follow-up.

Also worth noting are the well-bred Khan Tengri (7.20) and course-and-distance winner Snowberry Hill (8.20).
