Especially goes in search of a hat-trick at Wolverhampton and she looks primed for a third win in the pontins.com Handicap.

Bred to be a champion, being by Fantastic Light out of a top Argentinian filly, Especially has not really lived up to her pedigree but remains a useful prospect nonetheless.

The Mark Johnston-trained runner failed to score on either of her turf starts while she did not seem to get to grips with the all-weather surface on her first two starts at Lingfield.

A trip to Southwell in December yielded a first career victory in a moderate juvenile handicap but there was much more to like about her win at the Nottinghamshire venue last time.

Especially looked most progressive when holding Safebreaker by a length with the pair putting clear daylight between themselves and the rest of the field.

Johnston has seen his charge raised 3lb for that success but she does not look like she has finished improving just yet.

The Eric Alston-trained Johnston's Glory makes a swift reappearance in the Book Pontin's For Half Term 0844 576 5938 Fillies' Handicap after running over a mile at Kempton on Sunday.

She just faded out of it in the closing stages that day, plugging on well to finish just a couple of lengths in arrears and should appreciate the drop back to seven furlongs.

Another who makes a quick return is Brendan Powell's Contra Mundum, who lines up in the Hospitality Packages Available Handicap at Southwell.

The five-year-old has to shoulder an extra 12lb but is certainly on a roll having already won two races at this track as well as another event at Kempton this month.

Contra Mundum's wins may well have come in lowly company but there is no arguing with the eight and seven length margins on his two Southwell victories.

He won by three and a half lengths at Kempton last Friday and remains in irresistible form, making him hard to oppose even with his penalties.

Fleet Street has been dogged by health problems during his career but he made a perfect comeback with victory at Leicester earlier in the month.

The nine-year-old has been limited to just 11 starts after a number of setbacks, including a battle with the equine equivalent of MRSA.

However, Fleet Street showed those issues to be well behind him when powering home by eight lengths in testing conditions on just his second try at fences, the first having come back in 2005 in a race won by a certain Voy Por Ustedes.

Although not a foot-perfect display, Nicky Henderson must have been more than satisfied with his return and Wincanton's Dick Reynolds Novices' Handicap Chase looks an ideal stepping stone on the way to better things.
