A step up to six furlongs is expected to work the oracle for Savile's Delight, who is napped to resume winning ways at Lingfield tomorrow.

Trained by former jump jockey Tom Dascombe, who is making solid inroads in his new role, Savile's Delight goes for the Hotel Coming To Lingfield Park Amateur Riders' Handicap.

In the saddle will be Michaela Sowerby, who steered the nine-year-old to victory early last week at Southwell.

On his next start, Savile's Delight was a staying-on second to Dodaa at Kempton, where he was unable to match the pace of that speedy winner over the minimum trip.

Tomorrow's six furlongs should be ideal for Savile's Delight to confirm his wellbeing and get back in the winning groove.

Derek Shaw, who worked for Mick Easterby back in the 1970s, is enjoying a tremendous run this winter and is currently the leading trainer on the all-weather circuits. Shaw, who is based near Southwell, has double-prospects at Lingfield with Parkview Love and Cool Sands.

The latter finished a creditable runner-up to Mogok Ruby on his latest start over six furlongs at Kempton. Tomorrow's switch to seven furlongs in the lingfieldpark.co.uk Handicap should be perfect for the gelding, who is already a course and distance winner.

Parkview Love lines up for the Great Pontin's Breaks Handicap and would not need to improve much on his latest third-placed effort to Blecktoft at Kempton to be involved in the thick of the action.

Dean McKeown takes the mount on both of Shaw's fancied runners.

She's The Lady has come to Flat racing late in life, but the Eoghan O'Neill-trained mare has every chance of showing her rivals the way home in the Race Ahead With Pontin's Handicap.

Chris Catlin's mount made a successful debut on the level at Southwell earlier this month when running out a three-length winner of a maiden race from Phone Cell. She's The Lady is selected to make it two from two on an artificial surface.

Palais Polaire, who made Silver Hotspur pull out all the stops at Southwell last week, has every chance of going one better in the Play Golf @ Lingfield Park Apprentice Handicap.

The accomplished Matthew Davies, attached to Mick Channon's yard, and who was successful at York last season, takes the mount for trainer Jonathan Geake.

Fingers remain firmly crossed that Musselburgh overcomes the wet weather to stage its planned jumps meeting tomorrow.

The entries are huge, which makes winner spotting even more difficult until the completed cards are published, but worth watching out for is Wipe Your Eye (4.00), who is set to reappear in the bumper.

Brendan Powell's gelding looked a smart prospect in his two starts last term and, from a stable in form, is fancied to make a successful reappearance.
