JOCKEY Jack Teal enjoyed a double success at the York & Ainsty Point-to-Point.
Teal rode the unlikely-looking winner McMurphy to victory in the Restricted race - holding off Will Milburn's rallying Super Lunar - and also piloted his own Shepherd's Cave to Confined success.
These came after an entertaining start to the day in the Hunt Members race, when Milburn steered Secret Pattern home ahead of odds-on favourite Rock Of Leon, ridden by Teal.
It was all celebrations for Lottie Crane, who trained her first winner with Ballinahow Bill in the Ladies' Open for father Ivan Crane.
The Men's Open caused a bit of a surprise, with the Jack Jordan-ridden Hafajay continuing his progressive run of form by making it a career three wins out of five.
The Four-, Five- and Six-Year-Old Maiden saw an exciting finish where the Cherry Coward-trained Glassilaun, ridden by John Dawson, came out on top.
The final race on the card saw the return of form for Erica's Dream under Amy Collier for trainer Ian Mason. The pair were always prominent and stayed on well to fend off Good Rhythm.
