BLACKTOFT, who failed to last out over a mile and a half at Kempton on his latest outing, reverts in distance at Lingfield tomorrow and is napped to get back on the winning trail.

The areneleisureplc.com Handicap is the target for Stuart Williams' gelding, who is a previous course and distance winner, and who has every chance of getting back on the glory trail here.

On his latest outing, Blacktoft pulled too hard for his own good, and, as a result, failed to get home as well as he might otherwise have done before being readily put in his place.

Tomorrow's race offers Blacktoft a different sort of challenge, but one which he is fancied to meet.

Monets Masterpiece, runner-up on his last two starts, can make it third time lucky in the opening Jumping Here Tomorrow Maiden Stakes.

Having found Ross Moor too good here last time, Monets Masterpiece had previously occupied the same position at Kempton. He is no star, but this modest race should be within the grasp of Gary Moore's gelding.

Dichoh is a progressive performer with every chance of adding a Lingfield win to his scoresheet in the Lingfield Park Golf Course Handicap.

The Michael Jarvis-trained gelding has already won at Kempton and Wolverhampton and, relatively lightly-raced, is open to further improvement. There is no reason to believe that he can not put his best foot forward on this course.

Fulvio should go well in the Lingfield Park Racing All Year Round Selling Stakes.

A good third to Hotpotch on his latest outing over seven furlongs, beaten only a couple of necks, Fulvio will have nothing to fear from stepping up to a mile tomorrow.

Racing returns to Wetherby tomorrow and Smoothly Does It is worthy of attention in the Wetherby Racecourse & Conference Centre Handicap Hurdle.

A new recruit to Richard Fahey's (pictured) Malton yard, the gelding made a winning debut for his trainer on this course last week when scooting away from his rivals.

A 7lb penalty may not be enough to stop him in his tracks and a quick double could well be on the cards.

Also worth noting is Some Touch in the Woodcock Novices' Handicap Chase. A winner over fences at Musselburgh last time, Howard Johnson's gelding has the scope to climb higher up the chasing ladder.
