CRAIG Atkinson fired Severus to the top of the York F1 Racing Premier Karting Sunday Football League division one.

His hat-trick inspired his side to a 4-1 win over Nestl Volunteers with Phil Jones getting the other Severus goal. Volunteers' consolation was scored by Branscombe.

Hounds are on Severus' trail after they maintained their perfect start to the season with a 3-1 victory over Acomb WMC with goals from Carl Harkin (2) and Watson. Neil Ducey was the Acomb scorer.

Marcia, who are also unbeaten, rallied from conceding a goal by York Nomads' Bradley to win 3-1 as Andrew Green (2) and Joe Gardham got in on the act.

Wigginton Grasshoppers sit at the division two summit after they rolled over Cueball Fulford 3-1 with goals from Ben Coates, Luke Roberts and Paul Warriner, with Sargent replying for Cueball.

Second-placed Bishopthorpe suffered a setback after they lost 5-3 to Deramore Arms whose Paul Crangle scored a hat-trick. Other Deramore strikes came from Michael Horner and Stephen Jackson while Bishopthorpe's marksmen were Heseltine (2) and Greg Fitzmaurice.

Joe Woof snatched a 2-2 draw for Acomb Celtic with an equaliser in the dying seconds against Skelton. Mark Pipe and James Barrett put Skelton ahead, but Mark Benton pulled one back before Woof snatched a dramatic point-saver.

F1 Racing are the new leaders of division three after they overhauled Selby Griffin 3-2 with goals from Mike Taylor, Neil Yeowart and Chris Minett.

Finishing was the difference in Selby Olympia Reserves 2-0 win over Inland Revenue, with clinical strikes from Selby's Graham Stewart and Haydn Parsonage settling the issue.

Bay Horse Tadcaster cantered to a 5-1 conquest of Beeswing. Nicholls racked up four goals with Burlingham also on the scoresheet, Bullivant replying.

Wilberfoss also scored five against Heworth with Shepherd, Gibson, R Walker, Barker and Bagley on target in the 5-1 win.

Cross Keys remain top of division four after defeating FC Gillygate 4-3. Keys tore 4-1 ahead but Gillygate responded to set up a grandstand finish before Keys could bag maximum points thanks thanks to strikes from Darlison, Smith, Harris and Beddows. Gillygate's marksmen were Dave Mullen, Steve Scott and Pete Barras.

Enterprise went second after their 5-0 drubbing of New Earswick, with a Phil Hartley double supplemented by goals from Steve Whelerton, Rayner Gill and Phil Bell.

Acorn kept a tight grip on the division five leadership after a 7-2 hammering of Forest FC. Free-scoring Leigh Dutton hit a hat-trick, along with strikes from Richardson (2), Brundette and Elliker.

Pocklington Rangers, so often the wooden spoon holders, claimed their first victory of the season with a 7-0 battering of FC Barlby. Shaun Elvidge hit a hat-trick as did Justin Moyler, with the other goal hit by Craig Elvidge.
