Scarborough are one win from the first round proper of the FA Cup after beating Ossett Albion 2-0 at the McCain Stadium last night.
Goals from Chris Thompson and Jamie Vermiglio, plus some good first-half saves by Mark Wilberforce, saw the Seadogs through this third qualifying round replay, the first tie having ended 1-1 at the UniBond League club's Dimple Wells ground.
Conference North stragglers Boro now travel to Stafford Rangers, of the Conference, in the final qualifying round on October 28.
Harrogate Railway were held to a 1-1 draw at Goole in the UniBond League first division, while Pickering Town surged to the top of the Northern Counties East League premier division with a 3-0 win over Armthorpe Welfare.
Ricky Greening sent them on their way with the opening goal on 42 minutes, and captain Dean McAuley doubled the lead in first-half stoppage time.
The third goal came on the hour-mark when midfielder George Rose's shot was deflected in.
The win sees the Pikes go top on goal-difference above Maltby Main, who entertain Selby Town tonight in a match which will test Selby's own title credentials. A win would lift the Robins to just one point behind the leaders.
